Landon & Ava 10 Month Photos

Wow!! These twins are growing fast! I've photographed them since they were in their Momma's belly and I was thrilled to photograph them again! Recently, my eyes have been opened to a different style of photography, thanks to my new friend Rendy, from Rendy Tucker Photography. Rendy is an awesome photographer and it's been really refreshing talking with her. I've never used backgrounds before, but I'm having a lot of fun shooting this way, especially with all the rainy weather we've been having. It's nice to be warm inside! I bought two colors, blue and beige. This could become an addiction, buying every color of the rainbow, but oh well! :) Without further rambling from me.....I give to you, LANDON & AVA! (As you can see, I had a little too much fun with Landon and his adorable fedora hat.)

Colton Newborn Photos

Our great friends Lizzie and Neil welcomed baby Colton into the world on March 8th, 2011. On March 11th, I was lucky enough to photograph him in their home. He is such a cutie! I love all of his thick, brown hair!! Congratulations Lizzie & Neil!

Jared’s Photo Skills

I completely forgot that Jared took these of me while I was swinging on the beach. Just thought I'd share! (It goes with the post below!)

Trip to Santa Monica, CA

At the beginning of February, Jared and I went down to California for a few days. We stayed at the Hotel California in Santa Monica. It's literally right on the beach. Loved the location, didn't love the room. The bed was the equivalent of laying on a cement block. According to Jared, I'm not allowed to book hotel rooms anymore. :) The beach was great! It had more swing sets, monkey bars and traveling rings than I've ever seen. Jared and I swung on the swings for a little bit and I ended up doing that "swing as fast as you can and then jump off trick", surprisingly, just as fun when you were eight. I concluded the day by walking along the beach, watching the sun go down until it was completely dark. Here are some of my favorite shots from the day. Ohhhh, Seattle, can't you just warm up by 20 degrees?

Dave, Heather, Parker & Molly

This shoot was well worth being "Shhhhhhed" for. Ok, I feel slightly guilty that I caused a ruckus in the Seattle Library, but little Parker was having so much fun! With that being said, let me introduce you to this darling family! Heather is my cousin and I was so excited she agreed to shoot at The Seattle Public Library for family photos. Her family is FANTASTIC and so was the location. I have to give a big thank you to my friend Mandy who came to assist me with that day. She is an awesome photographer too and you should check her out here. Thanks again Heather and Dave! I had a blast!

Late Night Snow

Last week in Seattle we had a snowy night, so I decided to brave the cold and take some shots. I ended up having so much fun walking around and snapping away. I love the way the street lights illuminate the falling snow. The following morning it rained and as quickly as it came, it was gone.

Vance Hamm

Our good friends Amanda and Braden recently had little Vance. I had the opportunity to do a quick shoot of this little cutie back in November. I just adore his little sleepy face. I'm so glad I got to take these shots. I especially love the shot of Amanda looking down at her baby boy.

Echols Family Portrait

This shoot was so special for me because I took photos of Brittany and Grant when she was pregnant. See here. I also took photos of the twins when they were first born. See here. Now I got to take photos of the twins again! I can't get enough of their smiles! I LOVE it! Here are couple of my favorites from the shoot! I can't believe how fast these babies have grown! Thanks Echols Family! It's been wonderful to watch your family grow.

Jen Senior Photos

I'm so excited to finally have time to blog! New year, new blog posts! This shoot was actually done in September of 2010. This senior photo session was one of my favorites of the year! Jen was just darling and so sweet. I especially had fun composing the shot of "her times three". Her Dad is in the military and Jen has gone to three different high schools in four years!  She wanted a shot of her in each high school t-shirt, so we came up with the photo below. Thanks Jen! This photo session rocked.
